Open Question: Does the loss to Dallas give hope to Packer fans or was it a set-back?
Sun, 02 Dec 2007 17:14:11 GMT
As a Packer fan, I actually look at this loss as a good thing. It showed how good the Packers receivers are. It showed that Rodgers will be a good replacement for the Pack. The running game of Dallas wasn't explosive, even without KGB. The loss may have humbled some players. They still had a shot even without Woodson and KGB. I think they have a great chance to beat Dallas in January.
On the flip side, I don't think it was a very good game plan. The O-line looked weak compared to Dallas D-line. I know one linemen was hurt but but it still shouldn't have fell apart like the way it did. I wasn't too impressed with Al Harris. His first play against TO was good but I don't think he was used to playing zone coverage as usually they play man-to-man. That may have caused them to not be in sync. Favre seemed to be off after the first drive.
Either way, I think it will be a nail-bitter in January.

Sun, 02 Dec 2007 16:36:37 GMT
I'm 16 and i have to buy holiday gifts for my mom, dad, sister, and brother. i already have an idea on what i want for my mom and sister but other suggestions will help too.
my mom is 49 and i was thinking of buying her some chocolates and a magazine subscription.
my dad is 53 and i have no clue what i should buy him.
he's not the handy man, sports, or cars type. he is a very
intelligent man. and i want to get him something he will cherish.
my brother is 23 and a math graduate. we are sorta close but i want to give him something personal. no money or giftcards... unless to barnes&noble because he is going to need to buy some books for graduate school next year.
my sister is 25, we are so close. i found this great ring, sterling sliver, $14 and it is perfect. im definantly getting her this. if you can find something similar or cheaper let me know.

Apparently, Northern Lights, which was recently voted as one of the most influential novels of the past 70 years, has been withdrawn from some school libraries in Canada due to its atheist tendencies.

Should UK schools follow this example in order to safeguard our childrens' morality and also to protect christian values?
